Shipping Policy
In deciding how to package and ship our products, we endeavor to choose the available methods that have the least negative impact on the environment.
Packaging
Your purchases will be shipped using USPS packaging, which is the only mailing or shipping company in the nation to achieve “Cradle to Cradle”sm Certification at the Silver level from MBDC (McDonough Braungart Design Chemistry) for human and environmental health, according to USPS May 30, 2007 release. The USPS has gone beyond the existing federal and state agency requirements to seek this certification. Because the USPS met the criteria required to obtain the certification, more than 15,000 metric tons of carbon equivalent emissions will now be prevented annually.
Where practical, we ship your purchases using envelopes. The Oregon Department of Environmental Quality and the U.S. EPA commissioned a study which analyzed more than 20 packaging options. The study found that shipping items in bags almost always has a lower environmental burden than boxes because bags use much less material in their manufacturing and ship more compactly. Bags typically have a significantly lower energy requirement, less solid waste, and lower greenhouse gas production than boxes with void fill. This is true for all shipping bags, even padded bags with little to no recycled content and few convenient recycling options. Returns and Exchanges Policy
If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase we will gladly accept returns of unworn, undamaged merchandise, within 30 days of purchase, for a full refund or exchange.
Simply fill out the Returns/Exchange portion of the packing slip included in your package and include it in your return shipment. El Sueño Verde can not be responsible for the replacement of packages lost during return shipment if proof of tracking is not available so please be sure to ship via a method that provides a tracking number and purchase insurance for your returned item.
For any returns, we will credit the bankcard used to place the original order. If you are exchanging an item, we will then place a new order based upon your instructions on the Returns/Exchanges portion of your packing slip.
